2020-2021 Governor's Address
Hello Key Clubbers!
My name is Kathy Ye and I am beyond excited to serve as your District Governor for the 2020-2021 year. I am going to be a junior in the 2020-2021 school year at Lambert High School. Key Club has been a really big part of my life since I started in freshman year. This organization has allowed me to grow as a person and as a leader, and I would not be who I am today without Key Club. In addition, I have met so many new friends and some of my closest friends through Key Club. The entire Kiwanis family is a true family, and teaches much more than just service; it teaches us how to lead and how to build relationships, making the experience so much more fulfilling.
In this year, we have been faced with many challenges, especially with COVID-19. But this pandemic has also been able to unite people from all over the world to work together. This is truly something really unique, and I believe that Key Clubbers can also use this time as an opportunity to broaden your Key Club experience. Take this time to engage in service projects to benefit those who are on the front lines of care, meet other Key Clubbers from all around the world, and spend time really getting to know yourself and the people around you.
Key Club is an organization that is really near and dear to my heart. I can not wait for all of the exciting things that I can do this year for the Georgia District and serve all of my fellow Key Clubbers in Georgia. The core of this organization are the members, so it is every single one of the Key Clubbers that define Key Club. With this, I hope each one of you can continue to serve your homes, schools, and community and also reach out to me to share your thoughts about Key Club.
Forever in your service,
2020-2021 Georgia District Governor
