The "Give Back, Don't Throw Back" Drive

At the end of the year, school hallways usually look like a paper factory exploded. Perfectly good binders, pens, and notebooks end up in the trash just because they’re heavy to carry home. It’s a waste of money and a mess for the planet.

Instead of tossing your stuff, drop it off at "Last Call" stations in the halls during the final week. Have three easy bins:

● The Paper Bin: Notebooks, folders, and loose-leaf.

● The Pencil Case: Pens, markers, and calculators.

● The Binder Bank: For those bulky binders and organizers.

Over the first few days of summer, do a quick "Refresh Session." Rip out the used pages of notebooks to make them fresh, test the markers, and wipe down the binders.

Pack these "refresh kits" and donate them to local elementary schools or community centers. Your "junk" becomes the tools another kid needs to start their year off strong!
