As the school year winds down, it’s the perfect time to celebrate everything your Key

Club has done. From service projects to leadership moments, your club has worked

hard and made a real impact. Now it’s time to wrap up the year in a fun and

meaningful way!

Reflect

Start by taking a moment to reflect. Think back on the events that brought your club

together. What were your favorite memories? What made you proud? You can even

hold a final meeting where members share their highlights. It’s a simple way to

recognize everyone’s efforts and leave the year on a positive note. It’s also a great idea to save your club’s memories. Gather photos, service hour totals, event highlights, and anything else that tells the story of your year. Whether you make a slideshow, digital folder, or scrapbook, it’ll be something your club can look back on with pride.

Celebrate

Celebrating your members is just as important. Your club wouldn’t be what it is

without them. Try giving out small, fun awards like “Most Energetic” or “Best Team

Spirit.” Write thank you notes or just take time to say, “Great job.” These small

moments of appreciation mean a lot and help everyone feel seen.

Officers

If your club hasn’t elected new officers yet, now’s the time. Choosing leaders before

summer gives them a head start on planning and learning. Outgoing officers can help

by sharing advice, useful documents, and tips to make the transition smooth and stress

free. Make sure to submit new officer info here: Officer Info Submission Form

Feedback

Before the year officially ends, ask your members for feedback. What worked really

well? What could be better next year? A short survey or group conversation helps

your club grow and improve in the future.

Connect

Finally, remember to stay connected. Even after school ends, it’s helpful for officers to

check in, keep in touch with advisors, and start thinking ahead. A quick thank you

message to your members and Kiwanis supporters is also a nice way to close out the

year.

Your club has made a difference, and you should be proud! As you finish this chapter,

take time to reflect, celebrate, and get excited for what’s ahead.
