This year’s Governor’s Project for Georgia District Key Club is Ability in All. This

project ensures that all kids have a chance to get involved in service, advocacy, and everything

Key Club.

You can participate in this project by working with your school’s or your local special education programs to host events like the Special Olympics, start Aktion Key Clubs for children with special needs, or create advocacy campaigns for children who may be overlooked because of their differences.

Although these are great ways to start getting involved in the Ability in All initiative,

there is always more you can do. Take time to brainstorm service project ideas to support Ability in All with your club, and focus on a lasting impact rather than a short-term event or campaign. Also, be sure to take advantage of local resources to understand everyone in your community better. You can easily learn from administrators, teachers, and students at your school to ensure everyone in your community gets what they need, is understood, and is heard.

Your club can take the next step toward bringing all people together under leadership and

service.
