Hello Georgia District! My name is Hayoung Kim, and I am so honored and proud to be
serving as your 2026-2027 District Governor.
As governor, I want to be intentional about where I focus my energy this year, and that
means putting my full attention behind our District Project: Georgia Sheriffs’ Youth
Homes.
For over 30 years, the Georgia District of Key Club International has proudly partnered
with Georgia Sheriffs’ Youth Homes, working together to support children and teens in
need. Through this partnership, Key Clubs across the state have helped raise over $1
million to make a real, lasting difference.
Georgia Sheriffs’ Youth Homes (GSYH) provides safe, stable, and nurturing environments
for children who may come from challenging, unstable, and abusive situations. Their
programs focus on building strong values, providing guidance, and creating
opportunities for young people to grow into successful and confident adults.
We have also been focusing on the Herrington Homestead Renovations. This project will
provide a much-needed facelift to the campus, improving energy efficiency,
increasing the longevity of the facilities, and most importantly, creating a safer and
more comfortable home for the residents.
To make this impact together, we are challenging every club across the district to
fundraise $100, contributing to our overall goal of $7,500. Every dollar brings us closer to
improving the lives of the youth served by GSYH.
Stay tuned for upcoming fundraising opportunities, creative ideas, and ways your club
can get involved. This is something we can truly accomplish together, and I know our
impact will be meaningful and lasting.
