ICON Recap

Every year, Key Club members from all over the world come together for the International Convention, better known as ICON. ICON 2026 was an amazing experience and a great reminder of what makes Key Club so special. From meeting members from different districts to learning from experienced leaders at workshops, there was always something going on!

Throughout the convention, members had the chance to attend leadership workshops, participate in service projects, listen to inspirational speakers, and learn new ideas they could take back to their home clubs. No matter how long you’ve been in Key Club, there is always something new to learn at ICON.

One of my favorite parts of ICON was meeting so many new people. It's not every day that you get to talk with Key Clubbers from different states and even different countries. Of course, pin trading was also a highlight. It's a fun tradition that gives you the chance to collect pins while getting to know people you probably never would've met otherwise. 

ICON is also where delegates vote to elect the International Board, giving members the opportunity to help choose the leaders who will guide Key Club for the upcoming year. It's a cool way to see how Key Club works on the international level and be part of something bigger than your own club.

If you've ever thought about going to ICON, I definitely recommend trying to attend ICON 2027. Whether you're looking to improve your leadership skills, meet new people, trade pins, or just experience one of the biggest Key Club events of the year, there's something for everyone. You'll come home with new ideas, new friends, and a whole new perspective on what it means to be part of Key Club. 

I hope to see many of you at ICON 2027. It truly is an experience you’ll never forget!
