This month, we’re excited to spotlight the amazing work being done by Valdosta High
School Key Club in Division 14! From helping animals to supporting their peers, this
club has shown what it truly means to serve with heart.
Valdosta Key Club recently teamed up with the Humane Society to assist with their
monthly vaccine clinic. Members jumped in to help with the busy day by supporting pet
owners and making sure local animals got the care they needed. It was a great way to
give back while also connecting with the community in a hands-on way.
They didn’t stop there. Club members also volunteered at a local elementary school’s
field day, helping with games and activities to make sure the younger kids had an
unforgettable experience. Their energy and positivity helped create a fun and
memorable day for everyone involved.
Back at their own school, Valdosta Key Club continues to make a big impact. They’ve
been working closely with their school’s social worker to build and maintain a clothes
closet and food pantry. Thanks to their efforts, students in need have easier access to
important everyday essentials, showing that service doesn’t always mean going far.
Sometimes, it’s about supporting those right next to you.
And to top it all off, the club joined forces with Second Harvest to help with a food drive
held at the old VHS campus, showing their continued commitment to fighting hunger in
their community.
Valdosta High School Key Club is doing incredible things, and we’re so proud of
everything they’ve accomplished. Keep leading the way, Wildcats!
