The Kiwanis Family

Written By: Judy Ahn, LTG of Division 7

The branches of the Kiwanis family tree are closely intertwined with each other. K-Kids focus on providing opportunities for elementary school students to develop leadership potential and to encourage loyalty to school, community, and nation. Builders Club is for middle school and junior high students, and it helps to develop competent, capable, and caring leaders through service. Key Club is a high school organization, where individuals grow as leaders by answering the call to lead, summoning the courage to engage and developing the heart to serve. Circle K is college and university community service organization. It holds the motto, "Live to Serve, Love to Serve." Aktion Club allows adults living with disabilities to get involved in their communities by developing initiative leadership skills. Lastly, Kiwanis serves as a global organization of members dedicated to change the world. They sponsor all the smaller branches of the Kiwanis Family.

Despite the massive size of Key Club International, the Kiwanis Family still maintains a great connection with each other. Feel free to communicate with other parts of the Kiwanis Family!
