Service & Leadership Conference
Hey Georgia Key Clubbers!
I hope you all have enjoyed the Georgia Leadership Training Conference (GLTC), our first major Georgia District Key Club event of the year! As the New Year approaches, think about fundraising for the Georgia District’s second major event, the Service & Leadership Conference (SLC), held on March 10-12, 2023.
SLC is an annual event that Georgia District Key Clubbers widely anticipate. SLC is the time to reflect on and celebrate a year of Key Club service by Club Members and Officers throughout the term. This year, our SLC will be an Oscar Award Night Themed Party with the intention of celebrating Georgia Key Club excellence.
Attendees experience this encapsulating and memorable weekend by creating new friends across the state of Georgia and are invited to attend workshops, listen to our keynote speakers, and vote for the succeeding District-level offices: Lieutenant Governor, District Bulletin Editor, District Secretary-Treasurer, and District Governor. Additionally, this weekend marks the end of the 2022-2023 term and the official retirement of its officers and District Board officers. This retirement is followed by inaugurating the elected 2022-2023 and welcoming the start of the 2022-2023 term!
