Key Club is joining Circle K International to support the WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) project for Haiti effort. This project supports UNiCEF’s effort to provide safe drinking water, sanitation, and education to schools and children in underdeveloped regions. Specifically, it targets Haiti’s emergency needs with a full WASH response package which includes supporting emergency water access interventions for drought-affected areas or providing internally displaced people with alternative sustainable sanitation strategies. Haiti is struggling with the COVID-19 pandemic, plus the aftermath of a magnitude 7.2 earthquake that occurred in August. Without safe water, more children and families are at risk. This year, Key Club can help raise funds for WASH all throughout October via Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF to make a bigger impact on the lives of children in Haiti.
