March Partner Spotlight: Thirst Project

Written by: Jenny Chun, District Bulletin-Editor

This month's preferred charity spotlight is Thirst Project! Thirst Project is a nonprofit organization that works with the support of young people to END the global water crisis by building freshwater wells in developing communities that need safe, clean drinking water.

Our partnership with Thirst Project aims to combat the global water crisis and empower youth worldwide. By combining Thirst Project's focus on providing clean water with Key Club's vast network of student-led clubs, our partnership mobilizes young people to raise awareness, funds, and support for water projects in underserved areas.

Through initiatives like fundraising campaigns and educational workshops, Thirst Project speakers inspire youth to become advocates for clean water and social justice. Key Clubbers can help by donating money to build wells or by participating in Thirst Project's annual collaboration event with Key Club, Key Club Walks!

This event occurs in the month of April and students can sign up to participate in this link: kcwalks. Thirst Project challenges all Key Clubbers to walk 3.75 miles and raise $25 during this event! To learn more about Thirst Project, please click here.
